Myles Conti - Director / Editor

Myles began his career as an actor after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 1997.

Upon graduation Myles moved to Sydney to pursue a career in acting. It wasn’t long however before he became more interested in the other side of the camera, and soon found himself directing self produced short films, leading to a career as a freelance editor, and then director.

Myles has directed close to 100 TVCs and edited many more. He has directed dozens of music videos, for which he has received back to back nominations for best music video at the CMAA Awards in 2008, 2009 & 2010. In 2005 he was awarded an AFC internship as Darren Ashton’s Director’s attachment on the feature film “Razzle Dazzle”, and in 2010 he completed his first 1 hour documentary "A Very Short War" which he co-directed with Bill Young and edited.

With a background in performance Myles works very well with actors, and his knowledge of post production techniques makes him well suited to visual effect driven projects. His style is very fresh and modern and carries a unique sense of rhythm, with strong connection to story.
